The greenest vehicle is usually the one already built. Every car we export is one that would have been crushed early in Japan and replaced with a new build somewhere else. We are not going to dress that up as a mission — it is simply the shape of the business, and it only counts if the vehicle actually lasts. So the commitments below are mostly about durability: shipping cars that survive, supporting the people who repair them, and being straight about the ones we get wrong.
Vehicles that fail verification are dismantled for parts rather than scrapped intact. Roughly 240 tonnes of usable components were recovered and re-sold last year.
We publish free model-specific service notes in English and Portuguese, and fund tool grants for independent workshops in the markets we ship to most.
When a fault reaches a buyer undisclosed, we publish it in our annual summary with the cost of putting it right. Nine cases in 2025.
Brakes, structure, lights and tyres must meet our own baseline regardless of what the destination legally requires. Failing that, the vehicle is dismantled.
